Introducing Natalie Du Preez, Rainmaker Marketing’s Western Cape General Manager

This Women’s Month, Rainmaker Marketing has focused on highlighting how South African women are transforming the property landscape. Which also makes it the perfect time to introduce the latest addition to the Rainmaker Team, a dynamic woman in the property industry who is the driving force behind our expanding footprint in the Western Cape. Meet Natalie Du Preez, Western Cape General Manager.

“I’ve never seen myself as a marketing person; I see myself as a property person, but I believe that creativity and curiosity is at the centre of everything.”

Natalie’s career has been a curated collection of experiences in the property sector, each adding a unique hue to her perspective. She started her journey at Absa Real Estate Asset Management, a chapter that provided a deep immersion in the industry, from branches in shopping centres to ATMs scattered across the Western Cape. With Atlas Properties (later Acucap Properties), she ventured into the realm of retail. Her career evolution continued as she embraced roles in asset management, commercial portfolio management, which lead her to head up the property management division across Africa for ENSafrica. This diverse journey led her to work independently, bridging consulting, property broking, and marketing – a culmination of skills that would define her approach. At Rabie, she became the Marketing & Communications Manager, and grew the marketing department significantly over four years, managing multiple brands, and gaining residential experience. This was also where Natalie’s path converged with Rainmaker Marketing when we successfully launched Rabie’s Stonepine Crescent project.

As our new Western Cape General Manager, Natalie brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for the property industry. Her role brings together her profound understanding of the property sector across residential, commercial, and retail, as well as brand strategy and marketing – a blend that adds a unique flavour to Rainmaker’s approach. Her role in Rainmaker Marketing’s expansion highlights her commitment to shaping exceptional experiences. With a clear understanding of developer needs and an innate ability to bridge the gap between property and marketing, Natalie adds a new dimension to Rainmaker’s arsenal.

What sets Natalie apart is her ability to see the world in shades of grey, to embrace various perspectives, and to use her experience to drive innovation. Her love for design in all its forms adds a creative layer to her approach. Natalie’s journey is one of versatility, determination, and a relentless pursuit of excellence – values that perfectly align with Rainmaker Marketing’s ethos.
