KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

High level Duties:
• Videography Filming (property walkthroughs, interviews, events, brand lifestyle videos, podcasts, on-site)
• Videography Editing
• Photography (shooting and post editing)
• Creative concepts and compiling briefs for all tasks
• Independent management and co-ordination of external videographers, photographers and drone pilots
• Maintaining equipment
• Early morning (sunrise), late evening (sunset) and weekend work will be occasionally required
• Be the video expert to drive the video and photography service that Rainmaker offers

1. Creative & Strategic
• On-board projects with excitement, a creative view and problem solving approach
• Create and conceptualise briefs to match brand objectives, and present them to Creative Director
• Aware of current video trends, that speaks to the current consumer
• Able to see the big picture and end result. Then affectively research, collaborate and steer design to achieve the vision, independently
• Follow and bring alive the Creative Director’s vision and brief, working closely with the Content Director and Art Director to achieve a holistic result. Where each project’s design execution is unique to its brand values
• Work closely with the Social Media department on meeting their requirements
• Be a self-starter and motivator
• Analyse the creative to ensure the project will reach success
• Communicate effectively, internally and externally, to acquire all information and research needed to be able to complete tasks
• Attend site visits as requested or as self-identified, to fully understand the nature of individual projects
• Contribute to – and lead, all creative and strategic workshops with a collaborate and supportive approach
• Constantly learn from industry specialists, both internally and externally, to always grow and evolve
• Optimize video & photography to work for all digital platforms
• Progress with AI development
• Being able to produce videos with keeping product in mind, first and foremost, whilst inspiring the audience
• Create and/or direct clear, persuasive, original, highly creative and bespoke video content
• Immerse yourself in global audiences. Do the thorough research and scoping upfront, to ensure that the design direction will appeal to global consumers
• Have a very close relationship with the Creative Director, to work together to creatively and strategically problem solve, daily
• Extreme eye for detail, with a “no mistakes” ethos.
• Work closely with the Traffic Manager to ensure daily tasks assigned to team members, are ready for execution

• Video Filming & co-ordinating
• Filming of events, interviews and lifestyle shoots
• Working with content creators to efficiently plan shoots
• Identify appropriate equipment and managing the hire or purchase of them
• Acquiring and managing voice over artist and studio bookings when needed
• Manage third party service providers, such as other videographers, photographers and drone pilots.
• Plan and creatively direct podcasts

• Video Editing
• Understand the project needs and priorities
• Create detailed story boards for each project
• Compilation of different types of footage
• Applying the CI of each brand appropriately to every video
• Efficiently and promptly communicate between multiple parties daily
• Onboard feedback in a constructive manner
• Directing drone pilots and videographers
• Efficient search and identification of appropriate music, stock, AI and service providers/partners
• Quality control every video.
• Identifying and foreseeing problem areas
• Develop a good understanding of the property development industry
• Bringing logos and graphics alive with animation
• Creative and modern application to titling

• Non negotiables
• A complete course in videography
• 5 + years of Videography experience
• Able to Creatively Direct shoots
• Highly skilled in Adobe software, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Affects
• Comprehensive understanding of creative video content for social media
• A positive, optimistic and team player approachable
• Only an organised creative, that appreciates structure, will thrive in our environment
