About the role
The Sales Consultant is responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, and driving sales of residential or commercial properties. The role involves guiding clients through the full property sales process from initial enquiry and property viewings to closing deals while delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strong market knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Management
Find, qualify, and convert leads into property sales.
Build lasting relationships with clients, developers, and investors.
Conduct property viewings and presentations confidently.
Negotiate offers, handle sales documents, and guide clients through the process.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and gain referrals.
Market & Product Knowledge
Stay updated on property listings, market trends, and competitors.
Give clients accurate advice on pricing, availability, and market conditions.
Attend industry events and networking sessions to grow your presence.
Administration & Reporting
Keep listings and client data accurate in the CRM system.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
Ensure all property sales meet legal and company requirements.
Customer Experience
Provide a professional, friendly, and client-focused experience throughout the process.
Represent the company with integrity, reliability, and excellent service.
Minimum requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) essential.
- A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Real Estate will be advantageous.
- Proven sales experience, preferably within the property, real estate, or financial services sector.
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
- Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) registration or willingness to obtain it (if applicable).
